1. Information we collect
We process account email addresses used to send sign-in codes; creator-provided names, images, bios and published links; optional contact details (email, phone and WhatsApp) a creator chooses to display; account preferences, paid plan details and service-related communications.
When people open public Smart Links, we may record visits, destination and contact-button clicks, approximate country or city where available, referral source, device information and identifiers used for analytics and security. Location is approximate; clicks do not prove purchases, plays or completed messages.
If a visitor signs up for creator updates, we process the address they submit, consent/request timing, confirmation status, Smart Link source and delivery records. Addresses are intended for the specific creator's subscriber list and may be exported by the authorized creator.
2. How information is used
We use information to authenticate accounts, host and publish Smart Links, route destination clicks, provide analytics and Pro tools, secure the service, verify opted-in subscribers, send essential service email, deliver the one-time platform introduction after confirmation, process billing and respond to requests. We do not describe sign-up for creator updates as consent to ongoing My Play Link advertising emails.
3. Creators and recipients
The creator who offers an email collection form chooses why they wish to contact subscribers and is responsible for the messages they subsequently send, including required permissions, identification and opt-out mechanisms. My Play Link stores the list for that creator and offers authorized access/export. A subscriber may appear on separate lists only after separately subscribing to each creator.
Creators also choose their public content and optional contact methods. Public contact details and published links are visible to visitors.
4. Service providers and third parties
Our infrastructure uses Cloudflare services (including Workers, data storage, media hosting and analytics); Resend is used for verification and service emails; Stripe processes Pro payments. Pages may request fonts from Google Fonts. A Pro creator may configure optional Meta and TikTok Pixels on public Smart Links. We may also run a separate TikTok Pixel on My Play Link's promotional pages, subject to location-specific consent and opt-out controls. Meta and TikTok advertising pixels on Creator Smart Links follow the location-specific consent and opt-out controls described in our Cookies & Tracking notice. My Play Link marketing uses a separate tracking preference. When enabled, those services may receive visit or interaction data according to their own practices. External links (including social media, music and messaging services) lead to independent third-party services with their own terms and privacy practices.
Payment card details are entered into Stripe's checkout or billing pages, rather than an on-site card form operated by My Play Link.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use session technology for account access and a first-party visitor identifier for Smart Link analytics. Depending on location and creator configuration, optional Meta and TikTok advertising tracking requires prior acceptance where applicable, and opt-out controls are available on participating Smart Links. Our own TikTok Pixel, if configured, is used only on My Play Link marketing pages—not on creator Smart Links. Optional campaign attribution can record a tagged traffic source, campaign label, new verified account, first published link and verified Pro subscription after consent. 6. Data retention and safeguards
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for the service, subscriber records, account protection, billing reconciliation and legal obligations, using different periods by category. Account deletion initiates removal of service-side account and related Smart Link records; some external billing, log, cached or legally required records may remain under third-party retention policies or applicable law. We use technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices and requests
Creators can edit public links, disable email collection, export subscriber information and request account deletion through account settings. Subscribers can request that a creator stop contacting them and may also contact My Play Link regarding their data. Depending on applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion or other privacy rights; we will assess and respond as required. Requests should identify the relevant creator/Smart Link without sending passwords or verification codes.
8. International processing and children
Infrastructure and service providers may process data in locations different from your own. Cross-border processing is subject to applicable privacy rules and any safeguards required for the processing involved. My Play Link is not designed for children under 13 and creators must not use it to knowingly collect information from children without complying with applicable law.
